Title : Construction/Electric Project Manager - Non IT
\n \nTerms of Employment
\n• W2 Contract, 12 Months
\n• Hybrid (part-time in-office) Remote – Mondays and Fridays & Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
\n• Site visit for each project once per month
\n• Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5x8hrs/week. Core Hours are 09:00 to 15:00
\n \nOverview
\nThe Project Manager will be covering projects in the West-Suburban region. This includes ComEd areas like Rockford, Elgin, Freeport, Dekalb, Aurora, Crystal Lake, etc. Based on an expected Project workload of 10-12 projects, the Candidate must be willing to drive to these areas several times per month field walkdowns, etc.
\n \nRequired Skills & Experience
\n• Bachelor’s in engineering, Technical, or Project Management.
\n• Project Management experience (3+ years)
\n• Utility experience (Electric, Gas, or Water) or Civil construction experience or Engineering experience directly working on Utility installation/relocation projects
\n• Experience reviewing contract proposals/bids
\n• Experience with preparing the project forecasting (e.g. Monthly Cash Flows)
\n• Project Management
\n• Reading/Interpreting Civil construction experience
\n• Financial Forecasting (Monthly Cash Flows) of projects
\n \nPreferred Skills & Experience
\n• Utility Relocation experience is highly preferred (with a Utility, Construction, or Engineering firm)
\n• PMP certification or PE license is valuable, but not required for this role
